Legacy Park offers a picture-perfect setting for an enchanting wedding — from the intimate and historic Moore Chapel to a variety of scenic assets spread across the property. Nestled on the east side of Decatur, Georgia, Legacy Park is just a five minute drive from many restaurants, shops, and hotels.

Facilities and Capacity

The beautiful Moore Chapel, built in 1906, seats 80 people comfortably. Our maximum capacity for an indoor reception is 100. Two preparation rooms for couples and their wedding party are available for your use. Download the Info Sheet.

If you’d prefer to provide a tent for an outdoor ceremony and reception, we have multiple scenic locations on our 77 acre site offering a variety of compelling environments, including the grand lawn, meadows, a small lake, and an old stone barn. These settings, as well as other historic buildings on the property, offer unique photo opportunities as well.

Services Offered

To keep our price-point accessible, couples are responsible for providing catering, bar support, support staff, linens, cutlery, or anything else not detailed herein. We include the use of the chapel, an indoor or outdoor reception area, wedding party preparation rooms, and tables and chairs.

What are your fees?

Weekdays, M-Th: $2,500
Friday or Sunday: $2,700
Saturday: $3,000

Chapel only (four hour block): $500 Monday through Thursday; $1,000 Fridays and Sundays; and $1,500 on Saturday. Any date that falls on a holiday or holiday weekend is subject to a $1,000 holiday fee.

What is included?

Legacy Park wedding fees include two wedding party preparation rooms, tables and chairs, and use of a ceremony and reception space on site. For all other services, you have the opportunity to choose your own licensed vendors.

How many guests can you accommodate?

Chapel weddings are governed by the capacity of the Moore Chapel, which accommodates 80 people. Indoor receptions can include up to 100, inclusive of both guests and support staff.

What additional amenities are available?

Legacy Park offers an altar, tables and chairs, and ample parking. A/V (including wifi) is also available in Hawkins reception hall.
