Rain or shine, the Decatur community is invited to drop on by Sunday, February 27 from 1-5pm for an afternoon showcase of Legacy Park’s non-profit tenants and friends, including activities with L’Arche, Frank Hamilton School, Paint Love, Wylde Center, Wild Nest, Decatur Education Foundation, The Object Group Puppetry Workshop, and an Essential Theatre Playwriting Workshop performance.
Activities will move inside Cochran Hall in the event of poor weather.
Beyond the activities detailed on our downloadable schedule, you’ll also find L’Arche’s drop-by trivia table and the DEF info table, both open from 1-4pm, and food for sale by the Refugee Women’s Network through their Chef’s Club: Chef Sahar with Egyptian cuisine. Chef Sara will present Afghan Cuisine and then Chef Semira is a baker and will have cookies and cakes to sell.
Bring a blanket or picnic lunch and spend some time enjoying Legacy Park.
