South Housing Village Open House

The City of Decatur and the Decatur Housing Authority invite the community to an open house to learn more about the South Housing Village development at Decatur Legacy Park. The Affordable/Workforce Housing being designed addresses the community goals identified in the Legacy Park Master Plan (28mb .pdf) and refined in the Housing Addendum (9mb .pdf) adopted by the Decatur City Commission.
The open house is scheduled for February 28, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Hawkins Dining Hall located at the rear of the Administration Building at Decatur Legacy Park. It will be a drop-in format with exhibits showing the proposed master plan, building scale, unit distribution and other design elements allowing the community to review and comment at their convenience.
Can’t make it? The City will be releasing an online option following the meeting, allowing the community to review materials and comment until March 15, 2022.
