Save the date for Saturday, April 18 from 11am-2pm when Legacy Decatur, the nonprofit stewards of Legacy Park, present Community Day, an afternoon of environmental education and social connection.
Headlining the event will be the Decatur Environmental Sustainability Board’s Earth Day Festival, featuring a variety of participants focused on ways to enhance your environmental footprint at home and throughout the community.
Visitors will learn, share knowledge, connect with green organizations and community builders, and discover kindred spirits to help on your journey to becoming a greener, more connected resident.
While you’re here, grab some food and shop the Spring Plant Sale and Open House from Trellis Horticulture Therapy Alliance where you can get your garden up and running and learn more about therapeutic horticulture and accessible gardening.
It takes a village to save a planet. Save the date now to join in this collective effort to cultivate a greener, more inclusive, and more connected Decatur community.
