Interested in learning more about stormwater flooding in Decatur? Join Eric Byrne, civil engineer for the City of Decatur, for an interactive workshop on what you can do to address stormwater runoff on your property. The session will also cover the city’s current infrastructure and planned improvements.
This is the first of four sessions in the “Know Your Flow” workshop series, hosted by the City of Decatur’s Environmental Sustainability Board and Climate Resilience Task Force. Join them to learn more through quarterly hands-on workshops and a speaker series.
Light bites will be provided, so bring a neighbor or friend to learn more about this issue we all share. The first 10 attendees will even receive a packet of seeds to use at their next workshop!
Interested in getting involved with the Climate Resilience Task Force? Email resilience@agnesscott.edu. The Task Force hosts bimonthly meetings and includes subcommittees focused on flooding and extreme heat. They’d love to have you join them or learn more about their work in the city.
