Did you know that many of the invasive plants in our area can be harvested for food and other uses? In this class, we will learn about a wide variety of uses for common invasive plants, including culinary and medicinal applications, basketry, dyes, and papermaking. Our educator will give a presentation with information about a wide variety of plants, educational resources, and inspiration for recipes and projects you can try at home. Then we will enjoy a guided walk to practice identifying invasive plants! Led by Eliza Crofts.
Note: We will be gathering plants for educational purposes at this workshop, not harvesting for consumption.
