An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until May 10, 2023
In celebration of the Decatur’s bicentennial, the City launched the 200 Stories Initiative to preserve and document the history of those who are or have been a part of the Decatur community. Through the power of storytelling, participants will help shape a shared vision for the future of Decatur. This project is open to all members of the community, past and present, and will serve as the launch to an ongoing community story vault.
How to Participate
In person at Legacy Park: In person interviews will take place at Legacy Park, 500 S. Columbia Dr., on Wednesdays, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in April and May (Saturday, April 1 through Saturday, May 13). Email 200stories@decaturga.com to schedule a time to sit down with SCAD students. Walk-in are also welcome!
