Yoga Room: This class is in-person and on Zoom. Dao Yin is the precursor to Tai Chi and Qigong, and can be defined as “leading and guiding energy.” In Dao Yin practice the focus is on the breath, as it helps change the body, from the inside out, and encourages connectedness, comfort, and alignment. Through these connections your mind/body can re-discover “stillness.”
Dao Yin is practiced (initially) on the ground. So please bring your mat and a blanket to feel comfortable laying down. This class will meet for 8 weeks (for now) and is free to all Cooperative members and current students. For non-members it’s by donation. To register go here: taichi4lifecoop.org
