DESCRIPTION:4 week course: June 4 – June 25\nWednesdays from 7:00-9:00pm\n$150 tuition\, not including materials \nExpand your skills\, knowledge and expertise in this collage making course. The class will explore materials\, media and styles of both collage and assemblage.  In the program\, students will create two collage pieces. \nThe class will cover: \n\nTools and materials\nSources for content\nUtilizing digital resources\nComposition\nStyle\, color and themes\nPresentation techniques\nCreating multi layered 3D collage works\n\nInstructor Tom Zarrilli is an Atlanta based artist who has exhibited his work throughout the USA. He is the former gallery director of the 378 Gallery in Atlanta. He creates art in a variety of media including painting\, photography\, ceramics\, conceptual work and collage. \nEnroll here.

DESCRIPTION:6 week course: 6/3\, 6/10\, 6/17\, 6/24\, (skip 7/1)\, 7/8\, 7/15\nTuesdays\, 7:00 – 8:30pm\n$160 tuition\, not including materials \nUnlock your creativity with this Watercolor Ephemera class\, where you’ll explore the exciting world of watercolor painting while developing your unique artistic style! During this course\, students will use found scraps of letters\, photos\, and tickets\, etc. as references and add-ons to collage into their watercolor project. \nWhether you’re a beginner or have some experience\, this class is perfect for anyone ready to experiment with color\, texture\, and technique.  This class is all about having fun while learning new methods of approaching the artform\, and it’s designed to help you grow as an artist at your own pace. Led by local artist and owner of Sycamore Place Gallery\, Sylvia Cross\, who has been a fixture in the Atlanta arts scene for 25 years (except for a brief departure to live in a treehouse in Costa Rica\, and in Verona\, Italy.)  Topics of instruction include: \n\n\nColor mixing\, mark making\, and learning to draw with a paintbrush\nValues and scale\, placement on the page\nGlazing techniques and painting to music\n\nEnroll here.
